One of the functions of the pod is weight loss. I know. I KNOW. Everyone and their brother has a magic bullet for weight loss.
I wanted to test a few people who have consistent diet and exercise and had already lost 50+ lbs to see what their experience was. They committed to 3x/week for 2 months.
So far they’ve both lost more weight than was typical for them. I’ll have a post soon about red light therapy, laser therapy for weight loss and how my guinea pigs turned out pounds and inches-wise.
The biggest feedback so far was one astonished client. “I went on my vacation. I didn’t lose any weight, but I didn’t gain any either!”
I heard the same thing from another pod client (who wasn’t doing the weight loss setting) that went on a cruise. They were prepared to gain up to 5 lbs and only gained half a pound! (Have you ever been on a cruise? It’s amazing food, 24/7, and lots of it!)
I’m still skeptical and not ready to promote this feature yet. The data is strong and plentiful when it comes to recovery, healing, and pain, but it’s a much smaller body of evidence for weight loss.
