Would you like fuller, more youthful, plump lips, but don’t want injections, needles, or down time? Or maybe you want a more natural lip look that enhances what you already have?
The Nano-Fill Procedure from ModVellum Clinical is available for the whole face including the lips. In fact, you can come in just for the lips!
The Nano-Fill is a pen-like device that uses sterile single-use cartridges. These cartridges are topped with 46 silicon nano pyramids. It “stamps” the face painlessly up to 1200 times per minute.
This creates “nano channels” in the skin which allows product to penetrate more deeply into the epidermis. When paired with our deeply hydrating Pure Base, Sustenance, and stem cells (your esthetician will recommend what mixture is best for you personally; we are very careful not to put just anything in the skin) it plumps the lips.
In this set of lips you can see the top lip is larger and both lips are more hydrated. See how the lines aren’t as deep?
This is Derek from Urban Routine Skin and you can see his “half lip” demo above.
Again, this is for people who want a natural look for a special event, photos, or other chance to show off some seriously juicy lips.
The effects can last up to 3 weeks, though it varies from person to person. The biggest effect lasts about a week and then slowly fades.
There is NO DOWNTIME with this procedure. Traditional fillers can have 3 days or longer for swelling and bruising to fade.
We don’t use numbing cream as there are no needles and this isn’t painful, unlike other lip plumping options. Often patients will even get a nerve block prior to injections in addition to a numbing cream!
Traditional filler injectibles run around $500-$2000. They can last 3-4 months or longer depending on the filler and the physician’s technique.
For Nano-Fill on just the lips we charge $85.00.
Almost anyone can receive this procedure. Those who have cold sores will potentially flare, just like with any facial service. If you do tend to get cold sores, speak with your physician about the possibility of taking a prescription anti-viral for 7-10 days prior to the procedure.
The lip-plumping takes about 20 minutes.
Deborah Jacobson is our primary esthetician.
